For as long as the VGA interface has existed, the market has been forced to use media-module-based wall plates or heavy and costly stainless steel wall plates to meet the requirements of its clients. These former methods of interfacing VGA into wall plates have been cost ine ffective, and time consuming.
The Vivid VGA Connector features an easy field termination screw terminal design, eliminating the need for crimping and soldering and reduces signal degradation and shorted terminations. The Vivid VGA Connector supports signal transmission over UTP/STP CATx wiringand 5 Mini-Coaxial Cable. The fully tested connector is backwards compatible and supports signal transmissions WUXGA video quality over UTP & STP CATx and Mini-Coaxial Cable up to 10 feet and 50 feet respectively, where as XGA transmission coverage extends to 20 feet and 160 feet respectively.
